Teji (Ruth) Dilley, E-RYT 500 BA, CMT, LMBT, HHPTeji (Ruth) Dilley E-RYT500 BA, CMT, NCTMB, HHP was drawn to yoga and the healing arts in the early 1990s. From her initial contact with yoga, at a time when she was thinking intensively about social and environmental problems while searching for inner balance, Teji felt that yoga was the answer. The yogic system introduced an intelligence, cohesion and wisdom that she recognized as vital. Teji’s love and gratitude for yoga leads her to study and share yoga and other healing modalities, and she has encouraged many friends and students to go on to careers in the healing arts and yoga. Teji’s approach to yoga is eclectic while grounded in the Kripalu tradition of a mindful approach towards yoga and living. Her intention is to nurture the innate healing potentials and inherent wisdom inside each of us is through integrating attention to physical and energetic alignment in both active and yin yoga styles, centered on meditative breath awareness with a deep inner sensitivity. She is Co-Director of the Green Tree School of Yoga and is currently enrolled in the Insight Yoga Institute which uses Yoga, Buddhism and Spiritual Psychology as pathways towards developing integrated awareness of body, heart and mind. In 1994 Teji attended the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Holistic Health and became certified in Kripalu Bodywork. Certified in Massage Therapy in 1997, Teji was Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and became a Reiki Master/Teacher in 2000. In 1998 she completed the Kripalu 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program and began teaching in Northern Indiana. Returning frequently to Kripalu for ongoing study, including certification in prenatal yoga and Thai Yoga massage in 2003, Teji completed the 500 hour Professional Level Yoga Teacher Certification with senior Kripalu faculty in 2004. In 2007 she began her studies with Dr. Theodore Baroody, M.S., D.C., N.D., Ph.D. and became certified as a Holographic Health Practitioner. Holographic Health is a highly evolved system that integrates structural, nutritional and energetic therapies. Teji has given numerous talks and interviews on topics including Yoga, Bodywork and ecological living at Indiana University South Bend, Notre Dame, Saint Mary's College and for local interest groups.
